Oscars 2023

It was soooooo much fun hosting “Cinema Sounds” for the post-Oscars show. Randia, JoJuan and I chatted our hearts out about the films that won, and yes, those that didn’t. Plus, we LOVED talking about who wore what on the “new” champagne carpet. There were BEAUTIFUL gowns galore at this year's Oscars.

But, what would our show be without the wonderful music. From Lady Gaga…to Rhianna and the new guys on the scene who created the social media phenomena, “Natu Natu,” there were lots of great performances and music tributes.

Overall, Oscars 2023 was a stellar night and I felt that comedian Jimmy Kiimmel, did a really good job. Of course, he talked indirectly about last year’s infamous slap, and he made lots of people hilariously uncomfortable when he roamed through the audience asking crazy questions. For me it was a hoot! What a great night watching this year’s Oscars after the fiscal last year with Will Smith. Kudos to Kimmel and the show's producer for presenting a much better show. Congrats to all the winners… and can’t wait until next year's show. I think I’ll actually attend a local Oscar party next year. Hmmm? Don’t forget..support your local theaters!
